The new semester begins next week, so it’s time to rev up the posting. To mark the transition, here is an image from my restful summer vacation.

I hope that you will consider Washington Island soon, next year even.
We *might* be able to work a trade of nice accommodations for an informal talk. We have the Trueblood Performing Arts Center occasionally available, it seats ~300, in our community of retired intellectuals. (I am not affiliated with the TPAC.)
I meant to stop by this spring and introduce myself but was overcome by events – we survived the Ringgold, Georgia tornado.
I am really enjoying Bayesian Epistemology while trying to solve the problem of demarcation/induction, if only for myself.
