One morning a mother called into her son’s bedroom: “Wake up, it’s time to go to school!”
The son grumbled, “I don’t want to go.”
“Tell me two reasons why you don’t want to,” the mother said.
“The kids hate me,” the son said, “and the teachers hate me too!”
“Oh come on,” the mother said, irritated, “that’s no reason to avoid school. So get up right now and get dressed!”
“Give me two reasons why I should go!”
“Well,” she said, “you’re fifty years old. And you’re the principal.”
