Professor Jerry Kirkpatrick, emeritus professor at California State Polytechnic University, is always worth reading. His new collection of short essays — Applying Principles: Short Essays Based on the Philosophy of Ayn Rand, Economics of Ludwig von Mises, and Psychology of Edith Packer — collects dozens of his short essays on topics ranging from philosophy to politics to education to art.

Kirkpatrick reviewed my Explaining Postmodernism: Skepticism and Socialism from Rousseau to Foucault in 2008.
