Nietzsche has a reputation for being an individualist. Yet frequently Nietzsche rejects individualism and elements that go into a full account of individualism. For example, note this from his The Struggle Between Science and Wisdom:
“Beginning with Socrates, the individual all at once began to take himself too seriously” (SSW 132).
