  1. Was America founded & built up on slavery only? Absolutely not.

Most of the accomplishments of the United States have very little to do with slavery.

And in fact the benefits of slavery are quickly offset by its cost including the Civil War, our most bloodiest and costliest War.

Slavery was an economic institution that really didn’t work very well or very long in the United States.

Many other countries have had slavery for much longer and still do.

The efforts to tie the United States to slavery as it’s ONLY practitioner or its LONGEST practitioner practitioner are totally FALSE.

We know why they are promulgated.
I will not suggest that slavery was a good thing on any level. It was a terrible thing on all levels.
It caused a tremendous amount of pain, hardship & cost for so many people & it is still being used by our enemies to attack the United States.

All countries have histories of good & bad actions.

You need to balance them & understand all of them.

I wish everyone a great holiday tomorrow celebrating the 247th birthday of the United States.
