  1. Been a big fan for >15 years of the book and the charts. These charts are fantastic summaries. More relevant than ever.

As. Dist. Prof. I have used them in my Physics courses. In general, I am making the point that Science and its epistemology have become an anachronism. The emoters have taken over. This is so clearly seen in this word analysis “The rise and fall of rationality in language” https://www.pnas.org/doi/abs/10.1073/pnas.2107848118#:~:text=We%20show%20that%20the%20use,%E2%80%9D%20and%20%E2%80%9Cbelieve%E2%80%9D%20declined.

It is not only the postmodernists who have abandoned reality. It is a much larger fraction of Center-Left that has embraced “nurturing” and “environment” as the only variables to approach social problems. Individual responsibility, independence, and genes were abandoned as irrelevant: Education can fix everything. All helicopter parents have succumbed to this fallacy. Physics and the sciences have contributed to the quagmire we are in. We have not insisted on objectivity and pump out bull shit science, particularly in nutrition and medicine.
