  1. Nietzsche encouraged his readers to face the new world with courage, and not to take refuge in external authority.
    Some of them took refuge in Objectivism. But not a single Objectivist has even come close to the human ideal as represented by Howard Roark and John Galt, ideals that represent the Übermensch in literary form.
